Hiking is my Happy Place!

Day 1: Arrive in Denver and drive to Colorado Springs area

True, I could have easily flown into Colorado Springs. As a Texas resident (DFW), I miss driving through scenery. I figured I'd stop at Red Rock on the way. The steps might help me prepare for my Manitou Incline Challenge on Saturday!

Day 2: Manitou Incline

The Manitou Incline gains nearly 2,000 feet of elevation over less than 1 mile. It's not for the faint of heart, but people from all walks (or climbs) of life have successfully conquered it. It is, perhaps, the most unique and challenging trail in the country, attracting runners, military, Olympic athletes, and hiking enthusiasts from around the world.

More than anything, the Manitou Incline is famous for dishing out a tough workout.

Day 3 Continued!!

Assuming I succeed in completing my epic quest to hike the Manitou incline, I plan to enhance my tattoo by adding some mountains and (hopefully) a trail of steps....
